Senior Manager Compensation & Benefits - Region Europe North
In this role, you will lead the design, governance and continuous development of Compensation & Benefits, ensuring competitive, transparent, and data‑driven reward practices across the region covering the Nordic and Baltic countries. You will report to the HR Director for Region Europe North (REN) and be part of both the regional HR team and the EMEA Compensation & Benefits team.
About the role
In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and HR, playing a key role in driving performance, retention, and pay equity. You will own and shape the regional compensation and benefits landscape, ensuring alignment with global frameworks while adapting to local market practices. This is a highly visible role combining strategic leadership, operational excellence, and digital enablement.
Your responsibilities
- Shape and own the regional Compensation & Benefits agenda with real strategic impact
- Be a trusted advisor to senior leaders on pay strategy, governance, and transparency
- Lead variable pay, executive LTI programs, and signature leadership recognition
- Drive annual salary reviews, job architecture, and pay positioning across markets
- Ensure strong governance, compliance, and SOX‑relevant controls
- Turn complex data into clear, executive‑level insights and decisions
- Champion digital C&B solutions and SAP‑enabled processes
- Oversee benefits governance, international mobility, and Swedish pensions
- Partner closely with EMEA and Global C&B leadership communities
- Influence outcomes in a complex, international business environment
About you
You are a senior Compensation & Benefits professional with strong business acumen and a natural ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You build trust through high integrity and collaboration, you enjoy a close cooperation with the business and you communicate complex topics with clarity and confidence.
With a structured and solution-oriented mindset, you are comfortable navigating complexity and driving results in an environment that is changing and transforming at a rapid pace. You are resilient and self-driven, you bring curiosity and a forward-looking perspective together with a strong interest in data, digitalization, and the evolving role of AI within HR and reward practices.
Your background
You bring~10 years of experience from a Nordic/International environment where you have worked in the broad spectrum of Compensation & Benefits.
More specifically you have:
Strong understanding of incentives, job architecture, benefits, and executive compensation.
Strong analytical skills and experience working with data and scenario modelling
Solid experience with HR systems (e.g. SAP or similar)
Solid understanding of payroll and finance interfaces
Fluency in both Swedish and English (written and spoken)
University degree in HR, Finance, Business Administration, or similar
Experience driving digital or analytics-driven improvements is a strong advantage
